To achieve this, the following five leadership qualities are indispensable.
Positivity
A positive attitude does wonders for the working atmosphere in your company. It is up to the CEO to set a good example. One negative remark can hit hard and harm the motivation of your employees. But the reverse is also true: a sincere thank you or a well-meant compliment provides an instant motivation boost. Therefore, try to acknowledge the efforts of your team sufficiently.
Passion
To do something well, you must above all be happy to do it. A good CEO is not easily satisfied and is motivated to do things better and bigger. By explaining your vision to your employees, they themselves will be more motivated to pursue the goals of the organization. Regularly remind your team what their contribution means and the value of the bigger picture. People who feel they are doing meaningful and interesting work are typically 3.2 times happier than those who feel they are doing 'just work'.
Honesty
Being treated fairly and respectfully is the primary driver of happiness at work. With a transparent attitude you will win the trust of your employees. Always be yourself and communicate as honestly as possible about your decisions regarding pay, promotions and projects. It should be clear to your employees what they have to do to get a new title or a raise. That way your employees know what to expect from you and vice versa. In this way, unexpected twists are easy to avoid and no one is taken by surprise.
Open-mindedness
Growth of mind is not only an indispensable quality to establish important business relationships, but also to establish positive relationships with your employees. An open-minded boss empathizes more easily with his or her employees. Thus, they feel understood and deal with stress more easily. People who have a good relationship with their colleagues leave for work with much more pleasure.
Trust
A strong CEO easily gains the trust of his or her employees, but also blindly trusts the competence of the team himself or herself. By giving employees a sense of empowerment, you improve their job satisfaction. After all, those who are given the autonomy to make their own decisions automatically feel more important. On the basis of the first meeting, a proposal is made for a 100% customized program. There are several possible variants:
- A one-off brainstorming session
- A number of open follow-up sessions of 45 minutes
- A program of at least 5 sessions with 2 to 4 weeks between sessions
- A 6-month intensive program, including online program
- A year program for sustainable positive behavioral change, including online program
After agreeing to the proposal, a follow-up appointment is made and the program starts.

Management skills can be learned by attending a training course. Managerial character traits cannot be learned. They can be developed, however, if you have them. The question is: what are character traits? We refer to it as the personality traits or personal characteristics a person possesses. They are also called core qualities. When it comes to leadership they are called leadership qualities or management qualities. Managing starts with self-knowledge and self-insight.
